I’d like to share with you that I achieved top score in my English PSLE (2023). I am writing to express my gratitude for your teaching and guidance over the time when I attended your English lessons in The Learning Lab (TLL).

 

Thank you for the constant encouragement, advice and endless patience correcting my worksheets, composition and other mistakes. Sometimes it was late at night or weekend yet I still received your response at soonest possible. Your style and approach to teaching English had greatly improved my vocabulary and composition writing skills over the relatively short period of time (I started with TLL in January 2023, beginning of my P6). The additional learning from TLL had helped me gradually achieve better scores in school exams over the year of P6. With that, it also helped to boost my confidence in exams.

 

I will be always grateful for your patience, kindness and support to my success in this year’s PSLE. I am going to start my secondary school life in about a month, and will always remember the teachers’ words in my mind, including yours. Ms Song, thank you again.

I started my journey with learning lab in 2022, when I was in Secondary 3. Before I joined, i was constantly getting “Cs” for my English exams. Overtime, through the guidance from my dedicated teacher, Ms Tay, I was able to see my English grades slowly improving. From an initial C6 at the start of the year, to a B4 for my end of year assessment in secondary 3.

 

Eventually, after months of hard work and guidance from Ms Tay, I was able to obtain my first ever distinction, an A2, for my preliminary examination.

 

On the day of my English O levels, I calmed my nerves and remembered everything Ms Tay had taught me, from proper answering techniques to identifying questions types in my paper 2 to answer questions precisely. In the end, I was finally able to achieve my desired result, an A1 for the 2023 O levels.

 

I was overjoyed with my results for sure, but I knew that I couldn’t have done it without my hard work and determination. And most importantly, the proper guidance from Ms Tay.

"We enrolled our eldest son into The Learning Lab’s English and Science programmes to give him as much support as we could in the lead-up to his PSLE.

We found that The Learning Lab’s lesson materials are good — they are relevant, have a clear structure and highlight key areas of focus — more importantly, our son found the worksheets especially useful when he was completing his revision. Also, his teachers were very dedicated and hardworking. Throughout the preparation period, they helped him to work on areas of weakness and taught him effective exam techniques that really helped him to better understand the topics that were tested.

When we received his PSLE results on 24 November, we were overjoyed — our son achieved a PSLE score above 270 and he got an A* for all of his subjects! All three of our children are currently enrolled with The Learning Lab. One thing we appreciate very much is the regular communication we have with their teachers. This helps us to understand how our children are doing in class and we are happy knowing they are in capable hands."

Terms & Conditions
  1. This promotion is only valid for new students or existing students enrolling in a new core programme.
    i) Not valid for readmission students. 
    ii) New students refer to students who have not previously enrolled in The Learning Lab’s core programmes or have withdrawn from The Learning Lab’s core programmes before Term 1 – 2023.
  2. This promotion is only available from 21 June to 25 July 2023.
  3. Students must begin lessons by 25 July 2023 to be eligible for this promotion. 
  4. Registration and payment for The Learning Lab’s core programmes must be completed for the household to be eligible for this promotion.
  5. Enrolment of core programmes is done on a termly basis and no midterm withdrawals are allowed. Core programmes refer to termly programmes that are available in English, Maths and Science for Nursery 2 to Junior College 2.
  6. Student must remain enrolled in Term 4 – 2023 to be eligible for the Term 4 – 2023 lesson fee waiver.
  7. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions, discounts, or vouchers.
  8. Strictly no replacement for lost, misplaced or damaged merchandise items.
  9. The Learning Lab reserves all rights to make changes to any of their programmes and promotions, and may, at its discretion, amend timings, availability, venues, content, and teachers according to programme priorities and client needs.
  10. The Learning Lab reserves all rights to make any amendments to the above Terms and Conditions without prior notice and will not be held liable for any damages that may incur from these amendments.
